Trak Engineering, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer in Tallahassee, FL.

Design multi-layer PCBs for RF applications and test fixtures. Create new CAD shapes as needed and process into a global library meeting company guidelines. Perform detailed error checks, post-processing, Gerber files, etc. to facilitate successful board manufacturing. Create and maintain a PCB review checklist to be used on each PCB before post-processing and manufacture. Contribute to the overall product quality improvement initiative by reviewing current PCB designs and developing a solution to improve reliability and cost positions of products. Contribute to sustaining business operations through troubleshooting and approvals related to supplier changes and or issues. Design, implement and maintain embedded systems solutions that are robust, reusable, and maintainable. Come up with creative solutions to difficult problems in a resource constrained system. Coordinate with other engineers to complete product goals. Work with developers, testers, and product managers in a collaborative agile environment to deliver product improvements on an ongoing basis.

Require Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 3 years’ experience. 3 years’ experience with the design and operation of Internet of Things Network System (Network Communication, Electronic Control, and Data Collection) 3 years’ experience designing both schematics (electrical) and blueprints/drawings (mechanical), Print Circuit Board production processing. 3 years’ experience with smart phone application working theory. 3 years experience in embedded system coding and debugging skill with C/C++ 3 years experience with vehicle electronic control system 3 years’ experience with various types of wireless communication (WiFi, Bluetooth, RF and Cell) 3 years experience in digital systems, analog circuit and power supply design 3 years experience with intrinsic safe design.
